Letzte Nacht habe ich nochmals richtig gut geschlafen, die Hochzeitsfeier war um Mitternacht schon vorbei und das Rauschen des Meeres wiegte mich schnell in den Schlaf... Ich erwachte um 8:30 Uhr und eine halbe Stunde später war ich am Strand beim Frühstück. Danach genoss ich nochmals den herrlichen Strand, wo man es bei dieser Hitze am besten aushält, weil dort stets eine Brise weht und man sich im Meer etwas abkühlen kann (obwohl das Wasser ja auch warm ist)!

 

Again I slept really well last night, the wedding ceremony was over at midnight and the sound of the sea quickly lulled me to sleep... I woke up at 8:30 am and half an hour later I was at breakfast on the beach. Thereafter I enjoyed the wonderful beach once more, the best place to stand the heat, because there is always a breeze and you can dip in the sea to cool off slightly (although the water is warm, too)!

Ich konnte mein Zimmer bis um 14 Uhr benutzen, so ging ich so spät wie möglich duschen und auschecken... : ) Um 14 Uhr nahm ich im Ayu Spa gleich nebenan meinen Massagetermin wahr und liess mich von Tuti richtig durchkneten.
 

Sanur war für mich die idealste Destination auf Bali: Es ist nicht so überfüllt wie Kuta und nicht so schnell abgecheckt wie Lovina... Dann gefiel mit vor allem die Promenade am Strand mit vielen Restaurants und ohne jeglichen Verkehr sowie das Meer, in dem man schwimmen kann - das ist hier auf Bali gar nicht selbstverständlich! Was mir zudem auffiel ist, dass es überwiegend europäische Gäste hatte...

 

I could use my room until 2 pm, so I went to have a shower and checked out as late as possible... : ) At 2 pm I took the massage appointment at the Ayu Spa just next door and had me kneaded by Tuti.

Sanur was the most ideal destination in Bali for me: It's not as crowded as Kuta and not as fast sized up as Lovina... Then I particularly liked the boardwalk at the beach with its many restaurants and without any traffic as well as the sea, where you can swim - that is not given here in Bali! What I also noticed is that the guests mostly came from Europe...

Kurz vor 16 nahm ich Abschied von Sanur und fuhr Richtung Süden nach Jimbaran, wo ich meinen letzten frischen Fisch beim Sonnenuntergang geniessen wollte... aber ich getraue es mir fast nicht zu schreiben, kaum war ich wieder im Verkehrschaos, hatte ich Mühe Jimbaran Beach zu finden! Eine Stunde später traf ich dann doch beim Restaurant Sri Gangga ein und erhielt wieder einen Tisch im Sand an vorderster Front. Tomi Made erkannte mich gleich wieder und sorgte für einen perfekten Service!
 

Um 19 Uhr fuhr ich dann die paar Kilometer zum Flughafen, wo Wayan mich, besser gesagt seinen kleinen Suzuki, schon erwartete. Nach fast genau 900 km gab ich ihn zufrieden zurück und war dankbar, dass alles gut gelaufen ist. Trotz oder vielleicht gerade wegen der Hektik auf den Strassen nimmt jeder auf der anderen Rücksicht und ich bin keinem einzigen Unfall begegnet!
 

Danach ging alles sehr schnell, das Check-in und auch die Pass- und Gepäckkontrolle, so dass ich am Schluss noch genügend Zeit hatte meinen Post von heute vorzubereiten! : ) Um 21:45 Uhr hoben wir pünktlich in Denpasar ab und ich hatte im Flugzeug nach Singapur eine ganze Sitzreihe für mich, so konnte ich auf dem 2 1/2-stündigen Flug sicher eine Stunde etwas vorschlafen. Angekommen in Singapur, wechselte ich das Terminal mit dem Skytrain und als ich beim Gate war, konnte ich gleich ins Flugzeug nach Zürich einsteigen. Wir starteten pünktlich um 01:20 Uhr und eigentlich ging die Flugzeit von 13 Stunden schnell vorbei, denn glücklicherweise konnte ich immer wieder etwas einnicken…

Shortly before 4 pm I left Sanur and hit the road direction south to Jimbaran, where I intended to enjoy my last fresh fish and the sunset... but I almost do not dare to write that, as soon as I was back in traffic chaos I had trouble finding Jimbaran Beach! An hour later I finally arrived at the restaurant Sri Gangga and again got a table in the sand at the forefront. Tomi Made recognized me immediately and provided a perfect service to me!

At 7 pm I drove the few kilometers to the airport where Wayan was already awaiting me, respectively his little Suzuki. After almost exactly 900 km I returned it happily and thankful that everything has gone well. Despite or perhaps because of the hustle and bustle on the streets, everyone is considerate of the other and I haven’t encountered a single accident!

Thereafter it went very fast, the check-in as well as passport and baggage control, so I had enough time to prepare my post of today in the end! : ) At 9:45 pm on time we took off from Denpasar and I had a whole row of seats to myself in the plane to Singapore, so I was able to sleep a bit ahead during the 2 1/2-hours flight. Arrived at Singapore, I changed the terminals by sky train and when I reached the gate, I could board the plane to Zurich immediately. We started on time at 01:20 am and actually the flight time of 13 hours went by quickly because I was able to doze off again and again...
